The pump is not very well made, but for me it is very convenient for me to use. I have Arthritis and Fibromyalgia and have trouble picking up anything heavy. A full 5 Gallon jug is very heavy to pick up or very awkward to even tip, so anything that helps me, I am willing to give it a try. It comes in several pieces that you have to put together. You dip the upper part of the tube into bowling water, to soften it up, then you stick it into the pump itself, that causes it to have a tight fit. After you assemble the pump, you insert it into your 5 gallon jug and tighten the locking mechanism that holds it tightly on the jug. On my jug it doesn't tighten down as much as I would like, so it does have some wiggle to it. The pump does however have a tight enough seal to it, that it pumps out the water. It pumps out a lot of water, so it doesn't take me very long to pump out the amount water that I need, all it takes is a few pushes on the top of the pump. It also has a spout cover to put on the end of spout, to keep it sanitary and to keep from dripping. I received this product for a discount for my honest, unbiased opinion.
