This is The Last Humans: The Complete Trilogy by Dima Zales. I originally got this for my 15-year-old daughter Desiree B. to review. After starting the book she wasn't exactly comfortable with some of the strong language and big vocabulary in the book. I have been reading the book as I have time, which isn't always much since I have a 5-year-old at home that is a hand full. So far I am really enjoying the book. As stated before, it does have some strong language in it, but honestly, the book just wouldn't be the same without it. If strong language offends you, I wouldn't suggest this book, but if you aren't easily offended or if you have an older child that is mature enough, then this is a great read. It is in a futuristic setting where youth, adults, and elders are separated. The only adults that the youth have contact with are their instructors. The youth that is the main character of the story has an "imaginary friend". Curse words, feelings, and many other things are "taboo". I really haven't gotten too far into the book, but I am really enjoying it and am looking forward to finishing it as I can. I think a lot of people would enjoy reading it. The further I get into it, the more I like it. Please click the link below to view the product.
